woohoo..at last i can blog..here it goes!
the 12th of june was the day we were all waiting for to end our pain n sufferin of trainin hehe..so the day came yesterday and it was so wow..
on wednesday..we onli completed half or less den that of the dance..in fact we onli completed it on saturday mornin itself..power rite? even the music was done onli dat mornin.. like mrs tan said "my dancers are cool"..[ya..]
so we went for the competition after having breakfast of polar puff stuffs and going thru a few times in the dance studio.. wen we reach the cc we did a dry run and went for make-up.. the make up was damn cool...the PA male dancers..mind u MALE..made us up.. it was so nice!! they were so professional..and well they gave us encouragement too..thank u thank u thank u..okok..so we had our face done..thick eye make up..scary..and den we had to do the hair.. aargghh!!! my whole hair was sprayed and was damn hard.. felt like crying.. he sprayed our hairs unsparingly..but it was cool...

after two hours of stoning and singing and crapping and taking a whole lot of pictures..
den we danced lah.. okok lah.. it was our worst dance ever..mistakes everywhere..so we watched the rest..hai seng was damn good.. oh yah discovered they had 4mths practice..comforting..so after that we waited for the results..had to wait for the guest of honour to come had dk performance by hikayat putera emas! dun like.. it was not good lah but well no choice (newae mega perdana today dunno where) i had to translate everything for huifang n weifang haha..then all the speeches n the review from the judges also..and the best thing i had to translate the awards..and melie went up on stage without noeing wat we won..lucky the trophy is in english..haha..and we won the.........
tadaa...most promising group(woah!) best choreography (duh! osman wat..) and won 2nd (hahahahaha! no comments) lalalalala....
den we changed but left the hair and the make-up without the paint on and went to city hall wearing the persada juara tari shirt n our costume pants..we look like professional dancers haha..first we went to the urban dream capsule..woohoo! embarrassing moments but damn fun.. we danced there as requested by the men..and others watch clapped and even took pictures of us.. haha malu!! but fun!! and we also apalagi..take pictures again!!
so we went to swissotel after that to pass the tchers the trophies coz it was heavy n we didnt wanna carry them ard..oh yah tchers had the anniversary dinner which cost $100..but we din get to see or have netin due to the super tight security as the GOH was mr. lee hsien loong.. and ya loo n marco missed all that coz had to go back to cairnhill cc to find loo's hp..smart..
den we went to sakura for dinner.. laughed at huifang and i was dying coz i was damn tired..
and then we dragged ourselves home.. marco accompanied a'in to boon lay interchange in case got a lot of 'creatures of the night' and luqi walked with me.. damn nice juniors... hehehe..den at home..clean everything off.. took 1hr like that to clean make up and hair.. and i was damn tired..
den my sis was on the comp n i cudnt bitch with the dancers online..
:( but there's always today...
it was the best experience the malay dancers had this yr.. i think! thank u supporters for coming!! and thank u PA dancers n especially Cikgu Osman and Mrs Tan n Ms Khoo
